Our 2016 Annual Halloween Costume Parade, Contest & Trick-or-Treat was a HOWLING SUCCESS!

Poster for 2016 Halloween event

On Saturday, October 29, thousands of happy folks had a GREAT TIME at our annual event — our 28th in a row! Our Halloween Costume Event and Parade and Trick-or-Treat is arguably the COUNTY'S LARGEST and it might just be the STATE'S LARGEST.

In our contest, the top 12 Finalists got prize bags with great gifts; the 3 top winners received gift certificates to Festival stores, with the GRAND PRIZE being a $150 in gift certificates; second place $100 and third place $75.

Winners were Tatiana Johnson, first place, as Jungle Girl; Jayde Gullion, second place, as Cinderella; and Braedyn Wood, third place, as a Coke Machine.

In the photo on the right you will see these three; you can also see THREE DISNEY PRINCESSES from "The Magic Continues Costume Company" of Forest Hill who helped with the event! Help also was provided by CHUCK E. CHEESE and the ShopRite Mascot!

The event ended with everyone invited to go trick-or-treating at participating stores in the Festival until 2 pm!

For 2017, the event is scheduled for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28! Put it on your calendars now!
